Renowned graffiti artist Robbo had some of his work showcased at Pure evil on Leonard Street. It seems now graffiti has become accepted to some degree, a lot more writers have crept from the train tracks and tried to produce some real 'art' work. Couldn't find any examples of his work @ Pure Evil, but don't worry you're not missing too much.

Gastrotypographicalassemblage

After seeing this on the CR blog - i had to check it out. Kemistry, just off Curtain road is showcasing some of the work of renowned designer Lou Dorfsman. The show centered around his 'Gastrotypographicalassemblage'. Orgininally it adorned a wall of the cafeteria in the CBS centre on 52nd Street, New york. The Replica showcased at Kemistry is a third of the size, but is still pretty breathtaking.

Letterpress

Had a quick induction to the colleges Letterpress facilities. I had a lot to take in, but hopefully with a little practice i can create some great work using it. My first attempt..

Feck'n amazing. Blu

From the vernacular type workshop i've had a go creating a typeface using the London Underground Roundel. This is a very early attempt, and couldn't be used as a working typeface - but i hope to give it some style and attempt to create a fluent typeface which still holds a visible resembelance to the Roundel.
